Elgin, Illinois – March 7, 2022 — As the preeminent source for aerosol processing and packaging equipment and services, MBC Aerosol has continued to grow and serve our clients to the absolute best of our abilities. Through the past few years, we have seen a massive, industry-wide expansion. To maintain our ability to provide each customer with the highest level of quality products and service they have grown accustomed to from MBC, we’d like to announce our merger with R-V Industries, a leading industrial equipment manufacturer headquartered in Pennsylvania.

“Over the past 14 years we developed a complete line of high-quality aerosol and bag on valve machinery based on our customers’ needs and input,” said Jim McBride, co-founder of MBC. “We are grateful our sales expanded beyond our dreams and look forward to utilizing R-V’s resources to take MBC and our employees to the next level both domestically and internationally. We are excited for our future as part of the R-V family.”

Both McBride and co-founder Peter Burt will remain with the company, along with MBC’s 30 employees. The company will continue to operate out of Elgin, IL, marking a different approach for R-V in its history of strategic growth through acquisition.

“We are delighted to add the MBC team to R-V,” said Kirk A. Putt, president and CEO of R-V. “They have developed the best products in the industry and have established a culture of quality and customer service that fits very well with our organization and growth plans.”

R-V Industries, founded 1974, has a mission to provide superior products and services at a competitive price with integrity. R-V’s industrial equipment and solutions help produce many well-known consumer products and services, creating a better life for people around the world. Through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, R-V serves a diverse set of customers across biotechnology, chemical, food & beverage, life sciences, nuclear waste, oil & gas, paper & pulp, pharmaceutical, and power generation industries. R-V is ranked as a top-25 U.S. fabricator by Fabtech magazine.

“Since our inception 48 years ago, industry diversity has been a key element of our business model. For our customers, employees, and suppliers, it delivers value in multiple ways: ensuring stability when economic downturns impact specific industries, creating value by enhancing efficiencies and scale, and providing growth paths and collaboration opportunities for our 300 employees,” noted Putt.

The ability to grow in multiple regions will also provide company and employee growth opportunities that are key to attracting new talent while retaining existing talent. MBC and R-V are both hiring motivated individuals interested in their growing team.
