Established in 1955, I-K-I is one of the longest continuously operating companies in the aerosol industry. It was built on hard work, ingenuity and co-founder Stanley Midtbo’s solid Midwestern values.
Stanley and his lifelong partner Marilyn Midtbo began I-K-I in a small local factory after World War II. They grew the business steadily over the first few decades as the aerosol industry began to flourish. Marketers increasingly adopted aerosols for their products.
I-K-I has concentrated on providing services in specialized product areas and providing top-notch technical and customer service. The company has a unique competency with hazardous, flammable, and difficult to fill products, as well as Environmental Protection Act (EPA) registered and other products that required a high degree of technical and regulatory oversight.
The company operates two manufacturing locations in Southern Wisconsin sitting on over 34 acres. The combine campus is over 200,000 square foot of lab, manufacturing, and storage space
